I don't think I've sent you this view of "Kingsclere", it shows the front entrance, which is at the back, you know, and gives a better idea of its general position. You can see the round caps of the towers on top of the lodge, under which runs the entrance avenue from Kennedy Road. See the height to which the poor coolies must carry us, from the gate to the front door!
