Rose Garden Hotel
Thanks David, all we need now are some pics.
Apparently this hotel was a popular location for filming kung fu flicks in the 60's and 70's, and it caused me no end of headaches last year trying to nail the place. Thankfully I can see that the Shui Pin Wai information wasn't far off at all.

This establishment was situated slightly to the west of the current Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, at the location where "Villa By The Park" now is.
Yes, there was indeed "accommodation" there.
The accommodation was almost exclusively for the “bring your own” brigade (with selection usually from downstairs).
During the mid 1970s I conducted a number of “W&J” checks there …
