Photographs Relating to the Hong Kong Volunteers - Public Records Office
Primary tabs
I've found an album of over 700 photos in the PRO archives, but one has to go through them one photo at a time. So, I'm trying to make them easier to access. I am just putting each photo URL sequentially - which is why some are blank. This is just the first pass, so the Captions are not with the photos yet.
Here is the search link http://www.grs.gov.hk/PRO/srch/english/show_detail.jsp?recordkey=453700&srchscreen=sys_all&source=Y&version=internet
And if there are any former Volunteers out there, could you help with this:

Volunteer pictures
There is a picture posted by me which shows a group of HK Volunteers outside the HSBC bank posted sometime back under the heading Soldiers. Shows my great grandfather who was a gunner in the regiment for several years. If you search John Olson it will pop up for you.
You are welcome to take it for any collection you may be putting together.
