Would this portal be one of the air raid shelters above ground level on Queen's Road East/Kennedy Road?

It's hard to make a clear match, as the photo has been heavily touched up before printing.

There is another photo of a similar scene in a book of photos by Joint Publishing. On that one the portal number '111' is clear to see, which puts it over on Leighton Hill. I guess this photo was also taken there.
