Wed - Lunch with Sharon on Sir Thomas Jackson of HSBC

Sharon Oddie Brown, a Canadian who is a direct descendant of the SISTER of Sir Thomas Jackson of HSBC fame (his statue is the only one in Statue Square in Central) will be visiting Hong Kong 15-24 November 2012.  She is writing a book on the life and times of her famous relative, where he lived on the Peak, where his wife played tennis, how he lived, what his family was like. Her personal archives contain much of Jackson's personal letters and memorabilia.  Her research to date can be found at www.thesilverbowl.com.

I'd be interested to hear that - please count me in.

Sounds like something the RAS would be interested in too.
