The mention of John Olson 2 is fine but he had a father and mother! His father was born in Sweden in 1838 and arrived in Hong Kong in the early 1860s. He was then known as Jons Jakobsson but changed his name to John Olson. He died in Hong Kong in 1918. He married Ching Ah Fung who was the mother of John 2. She died in Hong Kong in 1915.
