Those gateposts again
We've seen these gateposts before. In 2007 a reader sent in photos showing them in the grounds of Ruttonjee Hospital. If that's roughly their original location, the 1903 photo above was taken somewhere in Wanchai.

Appears that the coronet gateposts were located at the entrance to the Royal Naval Hospital on Queen's Road East. See:

The title "Police Station" may not be correct as by 1903 the No. 2 Police Station in Wanchai would have already been located at Praya East.
