Hi I am from Wagga Wagga Australia,I am travelling to Hong Kong in December and I believe I am related to Billy my maiden name is Tingle and my grandfathers name was Lawerance but most people called him Harrold,my grandfathervraisedvhisvtwo sons in a town called Young,I would like to try and find out as much as I can to see if we are related thankyou

Do you have any ideas at which point in your family tree you are related to Billy Tingle?

Can you tell us some more about why you think you're related to him - apart from the shared surname of course.

Hi my grandfather was one of about 9 kids,making billy one of his brothers there was also a sister called eve I think, my father has a picture of billy boxing a kangaroo, My grandfather had two sons Brian and Bruce I am the eldest grandchild along with 5 other grandchildren Harold my grandfather now has 9 great grandchildren girls dominated our side of the family, he only has two great grandsons and unless my brother has another child and its a boy the Tingle name on our side has stopped at him. I have got my dad trying to find out other stuff from my uncle I really wish I had asked more questions when my pop was alive Regards Amanda

Hi Amanda, thanks for the extra information. I'm not sure we can tell you much more, as it doesn't look like anyone else from his family was in Hong Kong.
