Born in Plymouth, February 21, 1899. Died Hong Kong June 21, 1952.

He's described as a managing director of Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels, Ltd.. He'd worked for them from 1927 at the latest (he made the front page of the China Mail on December 13 when he almost died of typhoid.)
