re: Wanchai pier
I've set the date for this
I've set the date for this photo back to 1967 from 1970. The big grey building in the bottom right corner is the Sincere Insurance Building under construction. It was completed in 1968.

Police Buildings
I think the yellow & white building in the bottom-left corner is Caine House. Then there's an empty patch of ground, then another building parallel to Queensway / Hennessy Road. What was that other building called?

Police Buildings
If my memory serves me correctly it was a Police Married Quarters (PMQ).
re: Police Buildings
Thanks, I'll make a Place for them.

new wanchai pier
The exact day the new pier started operation was on 1968-3-10
according to news report 大公報, 1968-03-12 of https://mmis.hkpl.gov.hk.
By the way one can see the old pier going to Hunghom and Kowloon city at Tonnochy road not far from the upper right corner.
