Cheung LEE [????- ]
Primary tabs
Nationality Chinese, born Tamshui 20.12.26, student, BAAG Sept 42 – 31 Oct 45. Citation:
“This lad, at the age of sixteen, escaped from Hongkong after the surrender and in the latter part of 1942, volunteered to return to Hongkong on secret work for the BAAG. For eighteen months he carried out his duties inside with most commendable bravery. In February 1944, it was considered too risky for him to remain in Hongkong and he was withdrawn but continued to work in the forward areas until the cessation of hostilities. His work was always of a high standard and was of great value in our evasion operations. The fearlessness and devotion to duty of this young lad was a great example to others and had a big effect on the morale of his men when things were going against us”. Signed L T Ride, Colonel
King’s Medal for Courage in the Cause of Freedom on 1.6.1948.

LI Cheung / LEE Cheung
Dear Elizabeth,
We also have a page for "LI Cheung", BAAG agent No. 84 at: http://gwulo.com/node/23203
Any idea if they refer to the same person?
Regards, David
Dear David,
Li Cheung. In the BAAG reports #84 is referred to by number only, except once, and that was in a report written by Paul Tsui, where he is referred to as 'Li',
