Hi Stephen would this photo be from the 1956 Queens Birthday Parade., If it is may I copy it to put to my photos of the 56 parade. I was with 56 Field Squadron RE in the New Territories at Gordon camp from 1956. Bill.
Hi Stephen.Thank you for offering the sharing of the QBP photo. It is really the 1956 parade that I was researching for but I will print off your photo for a keepsake of when I was in Hong Kong. I have downloaded quite a number of photos of the 1956 parade of which some are on Qwelo under the heading of 'Devilinred'. I arrived in the colony on the troopship Asturius in early February '56 joining 24 Field Engineer Regiment RE at Gordon camp up near Castle Peak. What regiment were you in was it the Queens?. Bill

This photo may more likely be of the Royal Hong Kong Regiment.

It must have been 1957 as I arrived in HK in late Dec 1956. Of course you are welcome to use the photo. Glad to be of service. Stephen Chadwick
