I can see the President / Hyatt Hotel straight ahead:

1960s President Hotel

So the photographer is looking along Mody Road, and the curved building lower-right is on the corner of the junction with Hanoi Road.

Hi David,

Good find.  Some of the older buildings that showed up in the photo still exist today.  The obvious ones are:

1.   Star Mension at Minden Row;

2.   Peninsula Apartments at Minden Row and Mody Road;

3.   Chung King Mansions;

4.   Mirrador Mansion;

The posted photo was for another photo that the webmaster posted to show a different perspective of TST skyline. Yes, The President Hotel is visible.
