Hi There,

The photographer was actually standing on Yee Wo Street, facing the eastern end of Hennessy Road, with Hong Kong Mansion at the back.  Some of the buildings shown in the photo still exist, like the one with the big neon sign of 紅屋餐廳.

Behind the westbound trams there was a Tram stop, which had moved further east to the location under the circular foot bridge.
