Hi There,

There was a clipped Jimmy's Kitchen sign on the left most alright.  But that street didn't look like Wyndham street to me as I do not see the On Lan Street junction.  Maybe it was D'Aguilar Street instead?

Thanks T. I read an article in the SCMP that ' In 1975, Jimmy's moved across the road to the South China Building at the bottom of Wyndham Street'. This photo was taken around 1975 so I wasn't sure of the location. Regards

Jimmy's Kitchen was in the China Building during this period. Taken from Theatre Lane. Queen's Theatre on the right but out of sight. D'Aguilar Street up the road.

According to 1975 年香港年鑑, the only Central branch of Hang Seng bank (恒生銀行) was at 2 D'Aguilar Street (德己立街 )  . If that is the case, the picture was taken at the Queen's Road Central-D'Aguilar Street junction with camera pointing south. The sign of the bank was visible on the left.

The rickshaw rank is on Theatre Lane. The entrance to Jimmy's Kitchen is on the extreme left. Yes, walking forward would be the junction at Queen's Road Central with D'Aguilar Street slightly to the left on the upslope.
