No doubt about this tiger, whereas Jarrett's 1930s article in "Old Hong Kong" is sceptical about an 1873 report of tiger footprints in Happy Valley. See "Old Hong Kong" the article "Tiger in Hong Kong" vol. 4, p. 1039 on the link given for "Colonial".
