"Concert at St Steph’s a flop."
Which suggests Ship Ahoy was a play or some other type or performance.

Thanks, David. Maybe it was a musical. I was interested, as my father's cousin, Marjorie Cook, was in the cast and I hadn't seen any other reference to her in Stanley since Barbara Anslow's mention of sharing a bed with her in the Dina Hotel.
