I am intrigued by this photo of the military band provided by moddsey. Does anybody know the unit to which they belong? They look to be British, but I can see nothing in or on their uniforms or accoutrements, or their band equipment, to identify them.

The military band was the Band of the Corps of the Royal Engineers.
