This was a famous Japanese store on the corner of Arsenal Street and Queen's Road East. That junction vanished when Hennessy Road was built.

Daibutsu 大佛口
It is said that Daibutsu means big buddha. And the Chinese wikipedia says there's a big buddha statue in front of the store, and people used to call this border region between Wanchai and Admiralty "Big Buddha's Mouth" (大佛口). Even my father knew this name, but he didn't know about this Japanese store. I guess most people born after 1990s have never heard of this name.
I well remember Daibutsu's
I well remember Daibutsu's Japanese large shop at the beginning of Wanchai, with lovely dolls, and small wooden puzzles we children couldn't undo.
