The film "The Virginian' was screened at the Queen's Theatre 25-28 July 1947. The next change "The Thief of Bagdad (sic)' was screened on 29 July 1947.

Note the scaffolding on the cantilever canopy.  There was no concrete canopy at the theatre entrance in photographs taken in 1945 or before.  Probably the canopy was built in 1947.
