1960s Hong Kong

This must be pictures of the water collection point during the 1964 water shortage.

Remember the ‘water rationing’ of mid 60s so vividly-especially when I (and Police colleagues) had 24 hour supply of water-and were thus always ready to share our good fortune with ‘others’(aaarrrhh- the ‘showers’)

That's a perk I hadn't heard of before - sounds like the Police were one of the few groups who'd be disappointed when the water rationing finished!
