David thinks that this was taken somewhere in Kowloon. Judging by the two parked buses was he close to the Star Ferry pier in Tsim Sha Tsui? (Andrew S)

Jordan Road Ferry Pier
I think this is outside the Jordan Road Ferry Pier.
Thank you Moddsey. None of
Thank you Moddsey. None of the photographs of the Jordan Road ferry on David's map show the same buildings but it is quite possible - although that location would have been a bit away from where I'd have expected David to have been. Andrew
Re: Jordan Road
Hi Andrew,
The highrise in the photo still stands so I would say it is a match.

Well spotted Thomas! I
Well spotted Thomas! I believe that bamboo scaffolding is just visible on David’s photograph, so maybe the tall building was new in 1960/61 and does not feature on the earlier(?) photographs on Gwulo. Andrew.
Re: Booman House
Hi Andrew,
The Highrise is called Booman House. Checked a few agency websites and found its occupation dated was around 1960, Thus you may assume it was brand new when the photo was taken. The scaffodings was likely for touch up or exterior paint jobs.

Tyhanks Thomas,
Thanks Thomas,
It's good to see the photographs put into some sort of chronological order.
