Hi There,

This was where Hennessy Road meet Yee Wo Street.  The camera was pointing west.  You have New York Cinema at the back.  The photographer was likely on the upper deck of a westbound tram by way of how close the power cables was.

Hi Andres,

Yes.  The Hoover was just about a block at the back of the Ttram.  When the photo was taken it would be in the present day location of the pedestrian crossing. Capital cinema should be just on the left hand side on Jardine's Bazzar.  There is another photo of the area here from the other direction.
