Now that you mentioned it.......
The building there may as well be the one standing at the junction of Aberdeen Reservoir Road. At least the two upper windows seems to match.

I agree - that's pretty clearly Wanchai Gap. I never cease to be amazed to see so much of HK so bare of vegetation 50-60 years ago!
