Hello, I have just come across this site and these pictures. I have a question for you. I have a photograph album which is a bit of a mystery to me. The only people that are named are: Miss Beryl Winifred Olver & Corporal D L Maxwell whom were married in Newhaven Parish church in 1945. Amongst the pictures are some which include the above lady Peggy Lowe. She is not named in the album but it looks very much like her.  Are you related in anyway to the either Beryl or D L Maxwell? Kind regards.

There is no reccord of a marriage in 1945 of a  D Maxwell to a Beryl in Newhaven East Sussex the UK civil index

There are other Newhavens

There is a record  of a Lt.D L Maxwell who was a Prisoner of War Kings Own Royal Regiment 174162

i am related to Peggy Lowe; I am her daughter.

I was friends with, and went to school with, Beryl and Dave’s daughter Jane.
