In the 1939 Register of England and Wales, her date of birth was stated as 27th July 1905, which would fit the baptism dates in Hong Kong. The place of birth was not stated. She was married and living at the Thatchel Cottage, Crown Court, Vicarage Lane, Rugby, Warwickshire, England on 29th September 1939. Name then was Dorothy Muriel Blackstone.

Her occupation was “unpaid domestic duties”. Love that. 

The 1939 register would be accurate as the information was taken directly from those involved and checked by authorities. I know of many death records which have incorrect dates of birth on them for a variety of reasons..
