The four star hotel is located at 50 Nathan Road. Opened in 1974. Today named "Holiday Inn Golden Mile".
In the 1980's, a shopping centre operated in the basement of the hotel, now gone.

I actually attended a pre opening review of the hotel with the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and I recalled the early 1970s.
I went there yesterday and they confirmed that it opened in 1974.
