An advert for the Ritz Hotel in the HK Telegraph dated 19 October 1940 mentions that the Hotel was newly opened. Address: 128 Austin Road.

Interesting! I wonder if the road was re-numbered after the war, or if the post-war hotel opened near the pre-war one and took its name?
