Amah Rock
Greetings. In Google Maps, there is a photo sphere a short distance south-southwest of Amah Rock The photo is dated April 2019, and its vantage point is very similar to the one in this 1957 photo. It appears the ground behind the mother and child has been eroding.
A close look at the current photo shows that the child's head is resting on what appears to be three points with unequal loads due to the tilt. Using the vertical high rises in Shatin as refernce, the mother's head appears to be in a precarious position.
Is my concern unfounded? Comments and corrections welcome. Regards, Peter
