His daughter's marriage certificate gives his name as "Jacob Sayce". His son was known as Kelly Sayce and also as Kadourie Cohen, which is why I've mentioned Cohen as a possible alternative surname.

Annelise has found the marriage certificate for Florence Sayce in 1922. It lists her father as "Jacob Sayce (deceased), Jewish".

Yes I have seen that and that was great news! No I have the name of Florences father and that gives me hope for maybe finding some more details. Thanks a lot to Annelise and all of You helping me. I have also written to the synagog but no answer yet.
