I looked on Ancestry for this lady.  Nora Winifred Bascombe. I think she had a BA London University and was Headmistress of Belillious High School Hong Kong. She died aged 64 years  "passed peacefully away in a Southsea Nursing home" 18 October 1949.  Southsea is in Hampshire, UK.
