The entrance of the Princess Theatre can be seen in this photographs.

Junction of Kimberley and Nathan Roads. Princess Theatre (now the Miramar Hotel) was the venue of the Beatles' concert in Hong Kong in the mid-1960s.

The Beatles appeared at the Princess Theatre on 9th June,1964.

Us boys from a Catholic high school watched the "Ten Commandments" under the watchful eyes of our teachers (Brothers) who ensured we behaved. I also watched "The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)" and the theatre had a small replica of the bridge made of bamboo on its outside wall.

I watched all the Children Classics here, Mary Poppins, Jungle Book, Chitty Bang Bang in glorius technicolor even  B4 TV was broadcasting in Color!! Also Pre-Popcorn.
