Frank Bowden, the man Raleigh Bicycles

I watched a documentary about Raleigh Bicycles last night and its founder, Frank Bowden, later to be known as Sir Frank Bowden, 1st Baronet, apparently 'made a fortune in property delelopment in Hong Kong in the 1870's':

He presumably must have been quite a well-known figure in Hong Kong at the time - has any Gwulo researcher come across him?
