It was a British Forces school for children whose parents were stationed in Hong Kong with the British armed services.
This photo set on Flickr has a couple of photos of the school dated 1958/9. Does anyone know when it started and stopped being a school?
A bit of background on the 'Minden' name from Wikipedia: "The HMS Minden was named after the town of Minden and in honor of the Battle of Minden that the British, Hanoverian, Kurhessen, Brunswick and Schaumburg-Lippe troops won over the French On August 1, 1759. The ship was transferred eventually to Hong Kong where it served as a hospital ship. In its honor two Hong Kong streets were named Minden Row and Minden Avenue."
Hi David, in the 1963.1 Map of Kowloon at http://www.hkmaps.hk/mapviewer.html , the location of Minden Row School is given. Kindly nudge the marker to the correct location. Thanks.
The photo below shows me and the rest of the Minden Row Junior Army School class of 9 year olds in 1969. The photo was taken with our class teacher Mr. Ridley and his daughter Susan.
I'd love to hear from any of the pupils and especially Mary King. My maiden name was Lily Ball.
Your sincerely,

Thanks Moddsey, location corrected.
Minden Row Junior School
I've highlighted the school on this 1:600 map from 1961. It occupied two large houses called Penyrhew and Cheriton:
The two houses are seen at top centre in this photo:

Houses that later became school
The Public Works Report for 1913 refers:
Works completed: 9 European houses on K.I.L 575 Minden Row and Minden Villas
K.I.L. 575 is quite large, it includes the houses on Minden Row as well as houses on Mody Road (see 1920 map)
