Hi There,

This is the Eastern end of Hennesy Road where it meets Yee Woo Street. The photographer was facing West. 

Back then East Point Road only turns East into Great George Street (just like today).  But in the 1970's after the Cross Harbour Tunnel was completed, the Government opened up the pedestrian and allow vehicles to turn into Great George Street from Hennessy Road directly.  They even put CMB route 5B to terminate at Paterson Street.
