Does anyone have an idea where this chicken farm was located in Hong Kong? I have a few photos that were taken there and it seems to be a place that was treated as an attraction in some ways. I have photos of family members taken in front of a chicken coop with the number 5 on it. Everyone seemed want to be photographed showing the chicken coops?

That's a strange one - any ideas why they'd have been interested in a chicken farm?

I can't spot any landmarks in this photo. If other views show any skylines or buildings, they might help identify where it was taken.

I thought maybe this photo posted by Moddsey is at the same place but could be wrong. Maybe part of Dairy Farm? But my picture says 1940 so that's a puzzler.

Now thinking maybe this photo was from my family's Shanghai days, so sorry for the false start.

I think this photo was an error on my part and was more likely taken around Shanghai and not in HK as I'd thought. The year, 1940 and the people who are in the picture pretty much confirms it, but I still don't know the exact location. Maybe the tower in one of the other photos will jog a memory in someone. Sorry for misleading anyone. It wasn't intentional.

I'm now certain the photo was Shanghai and NOT Hong Kong or Kowloon. Sorry about that!
