Thankyou for uploading this Tony. It answers a question I had but raises another one. I can see that the open area at the end was still evident in 1967 but now I am wondering if I was wrong in assuming that the open area was at both ends because it seems to appear to only be on one side. Not sure if if reading you right, but the end nearest us is steep ground. Tin Hau Temple at bottom right. The flat area was reclaimed in 1860.
