I saw this stone near 31 Barker Road at the Peak. Is there any special about the stone?

PRIVATE ROAD
Top line in English reads PRIVATE ROAD then maybe repeated line two in Chinese with a third line maybe.
Is it still private or unadopted, owned and maintained by the local residents ?
Re: Private Road
The stone is on the northern side of Barker Road and very close to the access road for Inverdruie (today Knightsbridge Court) at 28 Barker Road. Likely an old marker from the early days of Barker Road (1898 or a bit later).
457 The Peak
Interestingly, there is another sign downhill of the former Inverdruie at Chatham Path also denoting "Private Path".
