A rare and wonderful panoramic view of Kowloon showing Nathan Road in the foreground, lined with large, colonial style 3-4 storey buildings. The white colour building in the centre was the Dairy Farm Bakery and Confectionary ( I believe also a butchery). On the right, The Signal Hill (Blackhead Point) with the Signal Tower and the time-ball are prominent. The tower is yet without its dome (added in 1927). Below Middle Road runs up and meets Salisbury Road at the far end. The buildings of Holts Wharf are on the extreme right. The long terrace of houses running obliquely, in the centre is Humphrey's Terrace.
