Taken somewhere in HK (Stanley? Repulse Bay?). Does anyone know? John's father, Isaac Ezra Elias, was the cantor at Ohel Leah Synagogue until 1930.

The photo was taken near the North Point Power Station and then Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club near Oil Street. See here.

Have recently seen a photo of the same location. It was adjacent to the North Point Power Station. Towards the photographer and at the end of the wooden bridge there would be steps on either side for swimmers to enter deeper water.
