- Actual date of construction is unknown, but probably about 1900.
- 1903: 2 x 12 pdr QF guns. (CAB 11/57).
- 1904: 2 x 12 pdr QF guns, 1 x M/G. (CAB 11/57).
- 1906: 2 x 12 pdr QF guns. (CAB 11/57).
- 1907: 2 x 12 pdr QF guns, to be reduced. (CAB 11/57).
- 1910: 2 x 12 pdr QF guns. Practice Battery. (CAB 11/57).
- 1911: 2 x 12 pdr QF guns. Practice Battery. (CAB 11/58).
- 1913: 2 x 12 pdr QF guns. Closure as unwanted, to become a service reservoir. (CO 129/403).
- 1915: There is an old battery called Elliott Bty SE of Belchers which is still in military control. (WO 32/5316).
- 1916: A portion of Elliott Bty was transferred to the Colonial Government from the War Department, to allow a sustantial improvement to be made in the alignment of Pokfulam Road. (HK Government Public Works Report for 1916).
