F. R. Myhill was a missionary, priest and teacher. He was born in 1913.

Interned in Stanley, he was dying of dysentery at the end of the war.

After repatriation leave, he returned to Hong Kong and became head of St. Stephen's College. His son John was born in September 1948. After a disagreement with the Missionary Society that ran the college, he resumed life in the United Kingdom, where he was appointed to the parish of Cofton Hackett in Worcestershire. He was a friend of Gladys Aylward ('the Small Woman') who visited him there before she returned to Hong Kong in 1958.

He retired to Hull and died August 13, 1987 at the age of 74.
