Please help! My grandma's an Anglo-Indian born in Shanghai. She moved to HK during the 40s and had been in contact with friends and relatives there. She went by the name 'Rose Wang'. Does anyone have any information on Eurasians/Anglo-Indians from Shanghai???

re: Shanghai Anglo-Indians
Hi, I had a quick look on the internet, but don't see any sites specifically for this group of people.
Maybe another reader will be able to help. To give yourself the best chance of getting an answer, what type of information are you looking for, and what have you already found out?
Regards, David
She sounds interesting.
She sounds interesting. Anglo-Indian can mean being of mixed English/Indian parentage, or English but living in India for many years (according to Oxford English Dictionary). Which was your relative? The former I assume, although the Chinese name is a bit confusing.
