my aunt Jean Gittins' dates are [1908-1995].  This can be validated in Peter Hall's "In the Web (3rd edition), p. 145

Nice to see you Mr.Gittins.

Revently I saw an e-book, I would love to get your  response whether the S.V.Gittins is your father or not?

Please  see Page 32  https://books.google.com/books?id=Y45FBAAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&hl=zh-CN&source=gbs_book_other_versions#v=onepage&q=Gittins&f=false

could you recognize other person related to you or your family?

another question is that John Gittins. who married Grace Ho Tung, is your uncle  or he did not have any connection with your family?

Best Wishes

Thank you @patrick for your posting of the photo of the 1st January 1933 HKU "Past versus Present Annual Christmas Match".  Yes, SV Gittins in that photo is my father Samuel Victor Gittins who was a good cricket player (and was later heavily involved with the Kowloon Cricket Club for many years).  He would definitely have been a member of the "Past" team in 1933 as he would have been 24 years old then.  Other people in the photo who I knew/know of are the brothers E. Zimmern and F.R. Zimmer (Ernest and Frances), and D. Hunt - Douglas, also known as Douglas Hung.  Like my father, all member of the Eurasian community.

In answer to your other question, John Gittins who was the second husband of Grace Ho Tung is in fact no relation to my family - I believe they met after Grace moved to the UK.  I learnt this caused some comment in my family as many, many years previously Grace and my Dad actually "went out" together so she seemed to have a predilection for Gittins'!
