Young Sing
Earlier, I've speculated that 'Young Cheng' mentioned in another part of Kerr's diary could be identical to Wong Yeung-shing. This mention of 'Young Sing' seems more likely to refer to that Wong Yeung-shing, who worked under Lau Hak-chai (referred to as Hok Choy by Kerr) - the leader of the Pistol Group of the Kong Kau Brigade. It is hard to tell if 'Young Cheng' and 'Young Sing' were the same person; there was a group of them (the Pistol Group) guarding Kerr in the larger cave near Shek Lung Tsai (near Pak Kong Au) after the Red Guerrillas made contact.
