Just realised I made a mistake of his year of passign away:  it was not 1974 which was my grandmother's;  more likely 1979 or 80.  Allow me to recheck and make the correction later.

No problem. I've set you as the owner of the page, so just go in and make any edits you need.

Hi Lawrence,

We actually share the same family name as Xu is the same as Tsui in Cantonese. I wonder if you could share the name of Mr. Tsui Yan Sau( Peter)'s grand father? I got conflicting records from different books, that is why I would like to confirm. Could you please help?

His grandfather was Tsui Foon-po 徐寬保 aka Fuk-kwong 復光 (Resurrection?)

His father was Tsui Wang-mo 徐宏謨 aka To-leung 道良 (Good Way?)

Hi Lawrence,

Pleasantly surprised I truely am to get your prompt reply. I am thrilled to know that my info was totally accrate.

Two more questions please:

1. Was 徐寬保 also known as 徐四伯?

2. Was 徐寬保 baptized in 粘坑 or in 布吉 ?

could you please send me an email so that I can contact you ?

Gratefully yours, Kan Xu (gzxukan@hotmail.com, geographically in Toronto)

Hi Ken,

Yes, Tsui Foon-po was aka 4th Uncle 四伯 because he was 4th son of TSUI Fong-kam 芳錦 (10th Gen at Tsim Hang).

I do not know where Foon-po was baptised.  Since his father Fong-kam was said to have been "buried opposite the church at Yuen Hang 元坑", wherever that is, I supposed that was where Foon-po was residing, hence baptised as pioneer converts of the Lutheran Swiss Basel Mission.

You can contact me by email <keentsui@gmail.com> .  I am in Mississauga.
