Ginger Soares is buried in the Happy Valley Catholic Cemetary.

His Daughter, Velma Maria De Lourdes Soares lives on Lamma Island.

I am Ginger's nephew. My dad, Eduardo M L soares was his brother

Hi Mike

I was interested to see that Velma is still living in HK. We used to be friends, she came to many of my birthday parties in Ventris Road and Leighton Hill right from when we were aged two or three,  and went to St Paul's Convent. The last time I saw her was when we were nine years old. Is there any chance of you passing on my email address to her if she is interested in making contact? David has my email details.

Velma goes by Maria more now than when she was younger.

She hardly ever uses e-mail.

She is known as "Silver Maria" on Lamma and has a small boutique on the road that leads to Power Station beach in Yung Shue Wan, Lamma.
