This picture was orginally taken as a set of four single pictures that I have merged to one panorama picture. Sorry for the stains on the original pictures.
It was taken from the living room of our house at 31, Lugard Road by my father in 1981.
It shows Kennedy Town and the much wider harbour at the eighties.
Also the fortress on Hatton Road is on the picture and to the left Green Island. Straight ahead towards Kowloon is Stonecutters Island.
I remember standing at the huge ceiling to floor windows of the living room and looking down at all the car lights and their brake lights driving around HK.
Also the sound of the bustling city is something I won't forget!
We had a lot of friends and business partners of my parents who came to visit us and they all enjoyed the fantastic view.
Best Regards,
Richard

Thanks Richard, that's a very clear view of the Pinewood Battery. The hillsides have a lot more trees now, so we can't get such an open view.
