The 1930 US census Lafayette Lousiana  shows an Yvette Whitfield age 30 a public school teacher born 7 March 1889 in Lousiana and died 28 May 1988. She is living with parents and siblings and is unmarried. In 1940 she was a social worker working in child welfare.
