Old building at junction of Dragon Road and Tin Hau Temple Road [????- ]

Current condition:
Ruin

If you walk up the staircase from Lau Sin Street, you can see the foundations of the old building on the other side of Tin Hau Temple Road:

It looks like it was a grand building. Does anyone remember what used to be there?

The main entrance is boarded up now - you can see it just left of the Give Way sign. If you walk up the staircase on the left of the photo, you'll see there was another entrance from the side:

The "Dragon Road sitting out area" is on part of the site. The buildings have all been removed, but you can see the top of staircase from that the main entrance:

Here's the view from the the other direction on Tin Hau Temple Road. A couple of garages were built in to the retaining wall:

Our family stays there from the early 50-mid.70's and was resumned by the government for road works.Original design composed of 3 storeys-duplex totals 6 units. The flat size are around 3000sf each with nice decor, some rooms has fireplace with en-suite toilet etc.Really a waste the building is gone with the site idling for almost 30 yrs.

It's good to hear from someone who lived there! Please do you have any photos you can upload that will show what it used to look like? And did the building have a name, or just a street number?
